ABOUT
Background
Westfalia’s project manager approached me to design their new website as a freelance UI designer. The branding, photography, and home page were already defined, and my role was to design the remaining 12 website pages, including the mega menu.
The project was developed in two phases: first, I delivered half of the pages, then resumed work after a short break to complete the rest. I collaborated closely with the project manager, client, and social media team, participating in meetings to align design decisions with brand direction.
My responsibilities included designing all UI layouts, creating new illustrations where needed, and preparing developer-ready files. I also provided a complete font guide, detailing hierarchy (H1, H2, H3, paragraphs), sizes, and spacing to ensure consistency. Once development started, I gave feedback during the early build to refine the visual execution.
